What they found in their shoes

In case you are wondering what the kids found in their shoes this morning I can tell you that they were very happy to find gifts rather than coal.

I can also say that I have one firm believer.

In October Tiger got a PSP3 for his birthday. Unfortunately, Gus (one of the dogs) managed to pull one of the controls out of the basket where they are kept on the shelf and chewed it to bits.

Tiger was realy worried about what his dads reaction would be if he found out  so he just told me.  What he didn't know is that I told Himself about it.

So when he opened his gifts this morning and saw that he had gotten a new control all he could say was ‘he heard my wish, he heard my wish’ …..

Cat on the other hand still wants to believe but is not so sure since all her friends have told her that it’s her parents.

I say: 'it’s true as long as you believe it’s true'

a shoe each, a glass of milk, some speculoos cookies, and a carrot for the horse

Cat & Tiger, just before going to bed .... hoping

They were very eager to get up this morning and thrilled to find that they didn't get any coal

  1. Ah, they look so excited in the "before" picture! I enjoyed reading about your St. Nicholas tradition; I hadn't realized it was separate from Christmas. Very glad they didn't receive any coal ;)

  2. your children are gorgeous and so happy they had a good st Nicholas morning

  3. Jo, they are both AH-dorable!!! :D Look at those smiles. Did they have to go to school today?

So cute: "He heard my wish, he heard my wish!" I love it!

  4. I love it. He's such a cutie pie.

  5. How fun! I never find anything good in my shoes, except sometimes a left over pair of socks that got stuck.

  6. "He heard my wish". I teared up! So special. That is one you'll never forget.

  7. Oops, I didn't mean to publish my comment yet.

Nolan did the same thing last year about a dump truck that he wanted. "Santa remembered! Santa remembered!" It was so cute. I love holiday magic in kids!
