I’m having a cup of Caramelized pear tea … it smells soooo good!  Actually, if I had to be honest the smell is nicer than the taste.  I think it’s because it smells sweet but you have to add sugar to make it taste sweet.

Things are going crazy again here at work which means I have less time to blog. Crazy how that works, hey.

Right so I’m sure you know how it works but just in case you don’t here are the details and the ‘rules’ :

11 Things about me:

11. I have written off two cars … but it was not my fault, I swear, it wasn’t

10.    I don’t add sugar to my coffee but I do add sugar to my tea

09.    I got my first and  only filling at the age of 26 (root canal)

08.    I’ve been wearing braces on my teeth for 2½ years (to fix an over-bit which developed after my root canal was replaced by a crown)

07.    I’m a terrible flirt when I’ve had a couple of drinks … (usually only with people I know)

06.    Because of this, our friends call me easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy

05.    I can’t straighten the last digit of the pinkie on my right hand

04.    I put my right hand through a glass door and cut my pinkie to pieces

03.    I’ve had roughly 65+ visible surgical stitches in my life thus far

02.    As a child I once nearly hung myself with a rope from a tree while playing Tarzan & Jane … on my own

01.    I’ve cracked 2 bones in my body (hand/foot) but I’ve never broken any bones

The 11 Liebster questions that I have to answer:

1. Why did you start blogging?

 As a way of keeping track of our lives (for the kids to read about one day) & to have something fun to do at the office when I don’t feel like working.
 

2. Where do you find your inspiration?

I don’t know about being inspired, I just blog about my life
   

3. What is your favorite hobby?

Reading
  

4. Do you have a role model, who is it?

No, not really, have never really had one either … is that strange?
   

5. What is your guilty pleasure?

Buying books, eating things that I know I should avoid but can’t resist
   

6. What is your dream job?

Owning a shop that sells cupcakes, cocktails, coffee and books
   

7. Favorite holiday?

At the coast … it’s not a real holiday if it does not include the sea
   

8. What is the best advice you can give?

Three things:

1. Choose to be happy, your life might not be perfect but there are many people out there who are in worse situations than you.

2.  Do unto others as you would have others do unto you, because it’s true. What goes around comes around. If you treat people like sh!t they’ll treat you like sh!t but if you treat people in a friendly and respectful manner, chances are they’ll treat you the same way.

And last but by no means the least: Forgive because if you don’t you are likely to turn into a bitter, unhappy and lonely person.
   

9. Favorite quote?

10. What is your favorite book(s)?

Too many to list … but even if I were to list them people would not be impressed … I don’t do literature I read for escape …. escape to crime filled mysteries
   

11. What do you hope to accomplish in life?

I hope to raise two well adjusted, not totally screwed up, funny, independent kids
